 ANALYSIS

1. Do you think the teacher’s learning objectives was appropriately assessed by your test items?

Yes, the teacher’s learning objective was appropriately assessed by the test items I made. The teacher’s learning objectives was my basis in the test items I have constructed. I might not create one without the teacher’s learning objective.  It serves as my guide to know what I truly measure/assess. There should be an alignment between the learning objective and the test items for the students not to be confused.

2. Why do you have to study the teacher’s learning objectives prior to developing an assessment tool?

One of the most important things to consider before developing an assessment tool is to know the learning objective.  We need to study the teacher’s learning target/objective because this will serve as our basis to know what to achieve, to be certain on what to measure or simply this will guide us on what is truly important to assess.

MY REFLECTION

Peace eliminates all forms of discrimination, including those bases on race, colour, sex, religion, opinion, etc. To achieve “Peace”, a teacher must have to accept who his/her students are, where they came from, understand their beliefs, and respect their opinions and what gender they prefer.Showing/making they feel that you accept them whoever they are is one of the keys to attain “Peace” inside the classroom. “Fairness” is another key towards achieving “Peace” inside the classroom, this was my cooperating teacher answered when I asked her on how to achieve Peace inside the classroom. For her, to promote “Peace” a teacher must eliminate subjectivity but promotes unbiasedness. The teacher should not be subjective in dealing and in giving grades with her students. A teacher must give equal opportunity to his/her students to learn and demonstrate achievement. She also added that transparency is also needed to be just and to avoid malicious feeling.
Peace is very important inside the classroom. There should be “Peace” to have good teaching and for learning to occur. Silence inside the classroom doesn’t mean “Peace’’ sometimes, it meansstudents didn’t understand the lesson, they are afraid to talk, they have problems, etc. therefore, there is no “Peace” inside of them. As what I have observed the teacher handled this situation with care, love, and respect showing them/ making them feel that they are worthy, she make them feel that they are free to talk or ask something, that  they can  approach her whenever they have problems. The warmth of a teacher is very important; this must be felt among all of her students, for them to feel that they are not alone but to feel that they are being cared and loved.
“Peace” is hard to attain, but it doesn’t matter what matter is that we are striving to achieve it. But how?... It must start with us. Try to love, care, and give respect to yourself then, to others and others will turn it back to you.
